Bumpy Oak Books is a combination of many things!
First and foremost, there is this blog which reviews ARCs (advanced reader copies) given prior to the release of a book by publishers in order to help create buzz for the book’s release. Hi, I’m J. (Any pronouns are fine!)
I am a forensic science professional with a master’s degree in Forensic Science and a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences. I have been reviewing books via NetGalley since 2017. While mystery, thriller, and scifi would be obvious areas of interest due to my educational background, I also enjoy fantasy, queer romance, and historical fiction. Most reviews tend to stay spoiler free, but I’m always happy to discuss what I’ve read in more depth!
